Windows says I only have 1 Gb of RAM?

The bios detects both sticks ( 2 1Gb sticks) but windows is only seeing one. Having only 1 Gb is really annoying me can someone help please?

Open "msconfig", go to the "Boot" tab, click advanced and uncheck "Maximum memory". Exit out and restart.
