Is there any guides on how to rig a psu for testing purposes?

I know how you can power it on w/o a system board. Linky.
Dunno about the testing part, though. Oklahoma Wolf would know! ^.^

To run it without a motherboard, use a small piece of wire, small paper clip, etc to connect the green PS_ON wire to a black ground wire. If it doesn't start up, or acts erratically, try loading it with a couple old hard drives.

Just saying you can jump the one green to any black and be good to go. (Just in case there was any confusion)

Bah, you're no fun to pick on.

Though, you did bring up something important: Minimum load. Those old hard drives probably will be required for the PSU not to act weird. IIRC, typical computer PSUs need a minimum load to function normally.
