Rigging a psu

To run it without a motherboard, use a small piece of wire, small paper clip, etc to connect the green PS_ON wire to a black ground wire. If it doesn't start up, or acts erratically, try loading it with a couple old hard drives.
 
Which is PIN 14 and 15 shown in the image (and link) that was posted ;)

I don't disagree ;) Just saying you can jump the one green to any black and be good to go. (Just in case there was any confusion)
 
Bah, you're no fun to pick on. :rolleyes: :p

Though, you did bring up something important: Minimum load. Those old hard drives probably will be required for the PSU not to act weird. IIRC, typical computer PSUs need a minimum load to function normally.
