You should definitely try it, especially if all you have is stock cooling available. This type of thing will easily blow a stock cooler away.

Sooooooooooooooo much better than stock cooler! I removed the thermal grease from an 8800 gts 640mb and put the cooler back on, there was visible light in between the cooler and core!

for recent relevance below and for any new guys who may want to do this.Back in this post, poparamiro put a TRUE Cu on a GF100 with good results. Now he has put what looks to be a regular TRUE on the new GTX Titan for a pretty good 3D03 score.
