realtek RTL8111C device cannot start... UGH

ok guys well i had a pcie 1x nic go bad on me about a month ago, and finally got around to installing a new one... only this time a RTL8111C based nic.

So i install put it in, install the drivers and get the Code 10, device can not start.... so i tried 3 different drivers, both pcie slots, to no avail... hell i even tried it in a whole nother computer and it still says code 10. Could it be that the new card is DOA?

Looks like the drivers were updated a week ago. Have you tried the diagnostic utility or removing the drivers and using windows update?

Hopefully having one slot go bad is not the issue. That would suck.
