Recently Ive been downloading lots of disc images from MS for a new rollout of some stuff at the office and Ive been having issues with them failing part way through then failing to resume at all or ending up corrupted. Mainly due to Microsoft's glitchy technet site  Anywho... Anyone know of a, preferably free, download manager that will work nicely for this? Being able to be scheduled and control bandwidth usage are big pluses as well. Also needs to work with firefox as that's the main browser Ive been using.

FDM. It's open source and has a portable option as well. I've tried them all, every single one, and the latest version 3.5rc 931 works the best (imho) and integrates with IE9 as well as firefox portable via flashgot. And it is faster than any browser download mgr, depending on source of course.
