Battle.net Down? [Nov. 12 2010]

Is Battle.net down for everyone or do I have an issue on my end?
I tried to log into Starcraft2 and the game freezes and stops responding at the login screen. Then I tried to go to the Starcraft2 forums and the page says the site is down for maintenance.

Any idea what Blizzard got hit with?

It's going to be down today and probably very unstable if it gets back up. Bnet had a message about this yesterday. Why did they choose a Friday of all days!!! Why couldn't it be Tuesday.
