Been out of the loop for a while and I am still running the ancient rig in my sig
I'm running the 10.12 agp hotfix drivers and would like to know which oc tool to use to control fan speeds and to overclock of course. Back in the day I used ATI tray tools is this still an option?

yes, and ATiTool called GpuTool now
rivatuner, Msi afterburner
i still like AtiTray tool, because i removed CCC (prematurely even)
i dont think it will work on W7

I really like MSI Afterburner. I hated Asus's proprietary option for the Matrix 5870. I actually made sure to buy an MSI card when I bought my 6970 just because of afterburner. I try to support the companies that make products I like and nothing else has been as nice as that.

5 profiles, manual fan settings, OC on startup etc. Great long list including monitoring.

I'll second (Third) MSI Afterburner (Formerly Rivatuner), really nice and works great on my XFX HD6970.
