Among them Cinebench has been removed from the contest because we found out it was hackable..

Very interesting -- I've not hear of that forum, but there seems to be quite a few of our regulars on there.

Fixed the links in the first post, thanks raymo (and matt for posting the corrected links). :)

What do I need to do to take part guys? I can post my hardware specs for what I'll be using, are we doing that here or in the lounge somewhere? Took a glance and didn't see anything obvious.
 
No need to stress out on anything. The goal is to bring whatever you have, cooling and # of CPU or GPU cores will all be leveled out a bit with a new handicap system that Raymo and the other judges have carefully considered.

I am you local judge, and if you have any question/comments, feel free to PM me. I can also be your go-to guy if you see anything going on in the competition that raises red flags. Throughout the competition, feel free to snoop in the competition's forums and eavesdrop on anything they're discussing in public locations. If you have time and experience, please consider signing up to assist with score validation as a "cop".

Brolloks and sno.lcn are your Team Leaders and should be your main resource for strategy/planning. I think I've said enough here....:)

During this contest you can OC from DAY ONE..
knowing this you can have a competition internally to find the best players for the forum's lead teams... since rosters don't need to be submitted until 2 weeks into the comp you can get your teams best scores before the wars starts and add kill shots after your teams have been picked... all players MUST be on a team to recieve a drawing prize. So this could be alot of fun for your whole forums members.
My guys at TRP have a few LOADED classes.. so the competition will be stiff internally..
All results (if properly verified and saved) can be posted after the war begins..

The need for stock scores is greatly lessened with OC'ing from the start.
If this works out the way I hope, we can eliminate the stock posting part of the comp next year. Although.. stock scores are not required anyway

Thems fightin' words!!! We'll just have to see how the cookie crumbles this year. I just want to mention that I didn't compete last year. :p
 
Hey guy's... Just wanted to drop by and let you know to get those stock scores up or post your pc spec's,speed & take zero's

I need to get everyone on the spreadsheet..
