Simple Quick Upgrade Question (5770 cf to 6950)

Is it worth it to go from 2 5770s in Xfire to a single 6950? Considering you can flash the 6950 to 6970. Ive done some searching and found very little info. So im looking for the communities imput.

Looking for info as to you can flash from 6950 to 6970 ? its straight forwards and seems that only around 1% of the cards cant flash to a 6970.

I have two 6950s and was able to flash them both to 6970 no problems

Im assuming at that rate, this will be a worthwhile noticeable upgrade? (im selling my two 5770s and will only have to shed out 50 at most to buy these.)

I would have to say yes, if you unlock you get the extra 128 pipes per card (256), then the core / mem speed of the 6970. It's really juicy. Talking any game max settings high resolution. Couldn't ask for more. Just make sure you have a kick *** power supply. Mine died. It was a 750 watt pc power & cooling
