Does anyone know the difference? These are both used in Asus' sandy bridge motherboards. I can't find any information about the ALC892.
 
Yeah I saw that posted in another forum, but I can't find any official information on it -- where did you find it?


Also, if that is true, it seems strange that ASUS would use the ALC892 in all of their P67 SB motherboards except the most expensive Deluxe model which uses the ALC889.
