I use my desktop for temporary file storage. Its easy to access and saves a few clicks when I am just dumping files somewhere. However I just ordered a 128gb SSD and will be really cutting it close on space. I currently have a little over 100GB between my OS and program files. How can I move my Desktop to another drive so I dont have to worry about running out of space?

Thanks

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders

change the location to desktop. so it'll use that everytime once you log off and log back in. restart would be better. you'd have to copy everything over from the old to the new one I believe

well it should work anyway, i never did it personally.
