I get the apple news letter e-mailed to me and on the latest e-mail about the new macbook pro it's claiming data transfer speeds of upto 10gbps not 5, if this is true then that puts usb 3.0 at half the speed of thunderbolt. Ah its USB vs Firewire all over again!

theoretically 10gbs actual use of usb 3.0 and light peak will be the rate a device can receive data.
