My frieind has a USB thumb drive from the program as a key to open the program. He wants to back up this USB drive. I loaded into his computer running Vista the USB port and counldn't see it in the My Computer. I further looked into Disk Manager in Windows but no luck.

The Key/USB drive worked as a key, I ran the exe shortcut on desktop and the program will recognized the key. If I ran the exe program with the USB drive, the program will ask for the key/USB drive.

Could it be programed into Linux or Mac?

Thanks!

That is a protection dongle, not a normal USB drive/storage.

The purpose is to "PROTECT" you to use the program (the EXE file) more than you've paid.

Its unlikely that key is programmed either in mac or linux.

Guess its extremely hard to copy it then... Thanks!
