Hi, I got a great deal on 4 x 4GB Gskill for $139.99

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231315

I was going to just use 3 sticks in Triple channel and keep the other one so if I decide to move to SB at some point, I could use all 16GB, but I read that my MB, the EVGA Classified 3, has dual channel support.

What would I be losing if I went 4 x 4GB dual channel, vs 3 x 4GB triple channel.

I pretty much only play games on it.

Thanks in advance.

I would probably just install 1 x 4GB module per channel = triple channel config. If you install 4 x 4GB modules then the first 12GB will be accessed at triple channel performance (up to 32 GB/s if DDR3-1333 modules are used), but the address space between 12GB and 16GB will be accessed at single channel performance (up to 10.6 GB/s if a DDR3-1333 module is used).
