Right I am thinking of pushing a little extra out of my HD5770 card using the auto tune in CCC currently at stock settings 850mhz core 1200mhz memory unfortunetly I will miss the last 2 days of a sale thats on for the HD5850 card

SO i'd thought I'd OC my HD5770 whats the boundary I'm looking at here.....
 
Every card is different. Who knows. Start pushing on it. When in testing it freezes, back clocks down a bit and retest.
 
I have 2 Gigabyte HD5770SO cards. They are factory oced to 900/1200 out of the box. Using MSI Afterburner I have had them stable at 960/1350 without over-voltage control. With voltage control you might get over 1100/1400. When I pushed mine too far they didn't artifact but simply locked up. This is the crossfired 5770's at 954/1360. Heat can be a problem.
