I'm new to Overclocking, and wanted to know the best settings/multiplier for the i5-750 without changing the stock fan, or if to go to a level that needs a new fan/cooling system, what would you recommend?

CPU-Z of CPU at the moment:

Welcome!!!

List your system specs please (mobo, ram, psu, etc)..

With stock cooling you may not get too far. But its really up to you to figure out how far. I can say you will get a couple hundred mhz out of it with stock voltage and cooler. But every chip is different.

In your case, Keep the highest multi, and push the bus up until it doesnt boot/windows freezes on you. Then back it down several bclk and get back to windows... Run a stress test program like Prime 95 if it passes for several hours, you are good to go.

Keep temps under 80C while stress testing that CPU.

CHeck out the guide in my signature too. :)

System Specs:
Motherboard: ASRock P55 Pro
RAM: 4GB (2x 2GB) Kingston DDR3 1333MHz
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS 512 GDDR3 + Factory Overclock
PSU: CIT 400W Dual 12V Rail PSU

i have This Cooling Fan but never used it, would it do for overclocking?
