Specs are:

[email protected](stock vcore 1.25)
6GB RAM
2x500GB ST3500418AS
MSI 8800 Ultra.

I'm currently getting this one, because the system currently is running on a 300W FSP Group one, and it shutdowns on intensive games and 3dmark etc.Will it be enough?

Thanks.I was a bit worried about getting a straight 500W one cause PSU calculator said 483W, but that's without USB's plugged in etc..And PSU calcs are known for being off track so I just needed a confirmation.Thanks again.

I've run crossfire 3870s on a Q9550 with 8GB RAM and 6 hard drives on my Corsair 520HX. You sure you entered the right stuff in PSU calculator?

Those calculators are notorious for overstating wattage requirements. I suppose they give high watt numbers because there are crappy PSUs on the market which are either heavy on 3.3/5v rails which aren't really used anymore, or are flat out overrated.

And it arrived:

SYS_FAN1 is macgyvered cause i couldn't find a 3 pin connector that fitted the wires, so i just put an isolation tape on the 2nd pin and put it in place.
