Hope this is the right place...

I've tried looking at some of the links on the stickies, but my work has them blocked, so this is what I am looking to do.

I'd like to take most of my DvDs, Blu-rays and save them on some hard drives, then be able to play them directly from there on the living room TV/sound system. I'll have the PC right next to the TV, etc.

I have an E8400 with gtx 470 and 8 GB RAM, running windows home 7.

What is the best way to approach this? What software would I need>
