Worth Upgrading?

I have an old Toshiba A105 S2141
I recently installed Ubuntu 10.04 and its running pretty well.

I was thinking about adding another 512mb stick of ram to it as well as a higher capacity battery.

I can get a 2gb set of G.Skill for $25.99 shipped from the egg.
But Ive read that some memory wont work with this laptop...

So what would you do?

Bite the bullet and hope that it works. I can't find anything about GSkill not working with this lappy. However I did find a link to crucial memory that is compatible for 29 bucks for 2 gigs http://www.crucial.com/upgrade/compatible-memory-for/Toshiba/Satellite A105-S2141/list.html
