Upgrade Memory on MSI 890GXM-G65?

Shouldn't make any difference, unless you were running low on RAM capacity - your original sticks are rated for the same frequency but at 8-8-8-24 timings which are slightly better than the 9-9-9-24 rating on the gskills. Timings are mostly academic for daily usage - the sort of thing you can tell a difference in benchmarks, but outside of that not so much.

So if you need the extra capacity, go for it as the price seems alright. If you don't need the extra capacity, you likely wouldn't be able to tell a difference.

Thanks for the reply. So as far as keeping multiple programs open or even starting them up wont be more efficient?

Count 1.5GB RAM for clean system + programs. Usually loading programs is faster if you have more ram. Probably you will see difference while photo editing and running multiple programs so it won't be bad move with current ram prices.
These 2 look ok if you won't find snipers in so low price again:

Thanks Woomack. I actually jumped on that deal so if it speeds up those two things a bit I will be happy.
