msn trouble

i get a traycint error when i try to dial up listed below is the exact text:

I didn't know MSN did dialup . . . . . well, you learn something new everyday I guess.

Anyway, what you need to do is reinstall the MSN software.

If you want MSN 5.6 (i think this is probably closest to what you have) the address is http://fdl.msn.com/public/msnqfe/components/us/msn56.exe

If you want MSN explorer 7 the address is http://explorer.msn.com (warning, if your using an earlier version and you install version 7 your mail will become webbased rather than pop3.)

i downloaded msn 5.6 , i got the butterfly instead of the finger but it still is messed

It happens to me all the time. I hate MSN dial up. I am denied service all the time.

thanks guys i got it to work with the new msn 5.6, it didnt work th efirst time b/c i just downloaded it and installed but not upgraded when it went online.

Yah, im a work now, we have 42 calls waiting

Turns out the server went down friday and corrupted ALL the 5.x software

And let me tell you, work sucked today, the que peaked at 50 calls, and never got below 15.
