which of these two are the best bang for buck ati GPU? 6850 or 6870? are there any huge difference between these two? does a 550w dual rail(408w max on a 12v)PSU enough for a 6850?

You can run up to a single 6950 with your setup. But to compare the 6850 and 6870...
