ATI 5770 Temp Mishap - 102C

I turned the fans up on the wrong card today when I was playing a game. So, the card I was using at 95-100% was only at 20% for the fans. Long story short, my temps went to 102C

Dangerous? I immediately bumped the fans up to about 70%, and it went down to about 65C. Could I have done any damage with this short spurt? It may have only been around that temperature for a couple of minutes.

It wasn't the best thing to happen to your card, but I doubt you did any thing really bad. It should shut down prior to damaging itself. So if you haven't noticed a performance drop you should be good
