What ta do with my Athlon II X3 450 (unlocking, cache, overclocking)

I've got a Athlon II X3 450 CPU and was able to unlock and activate the 4th core with my current mobo.. But basically what are my options with it? I'm not really familiar with the architecture and cache arrangement .. So do I either:

1. Activate 4th core & feed enough voltage to keep stable
2. Unlock but disable 4th core (keeping its cache available?)
3. Just overclock it
