    Intel i5 2500k, Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3P--Overclock Major Voltage Issue/Spikes!!

    I am new to the OC scene and have done a lot of research before starting my OC on my Intel 2500k 3.3 GHz i5 CPU. I have tried several different methods (about 3-4 different OC's) over the past week or so. On each occasion my Vcore has gone through the roof when i ran Prime95 Large FFT's--above 1.5V. This is after passing IBT on maximum for at least 10 passes. To put it mildly this has me very concerned as i have not been attempting serious OC'ing on my 2500k and these voltage readings are dangerously high for my CPU. On my first 3 attempts i was trying to OC to 4.4GHz and on my most recent try i went for 4.3GHz. My first 3 attempts were using different settings from my last attempt. I will just post the results from my two most recent OC's and my BIOS settings. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated as i am at a loss.

    --Notice the really high Vcore Max temps but the good CPU temps. Could this have been just a momentary spike in Vcore? Could it be incorrect readings? My drivers are all up-to-date btw for my motherboard..(Sorry that the CPU-Z shot is not while Prime95 was running. I took it after i came home and saw my voltage readings and immediately shut down the torture test. But was running with a multiplier of 43x as my settings indicate it should and voltage was running at acceptable levels--around 1.35-1.36V when i looked at CPU-Z before shutting down Prime95).

    -On this OC my readings in CPUID and HWINFO were very similar. Spiking to around 1.5V with acceptable temperatures similar to those posted above.

    Anyone who could offer some advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance...

    Adjust both LLC (Load-Line Calibration) and DVID (Dynamic Vcore) to achieve a lower Vcore while under load.

    What do you think would be an appropriate DVID setting? And should i try LLC disabled or just reduce it down to say level 2?
