would there be a big difference in performance between a 4.4 and 4.6 i5 2500k oc
cause of my mobo, I don't have manual oc for vore voltage, so i have to settle for 4.4ghz to keep idle voltage to my satisfactory requirements. 4.6 auto v too much.
would there be that much diff in realitime appz and games anyway?

Well, 4.6GHz is 0.2GHz faster than 4.4GHz. That's about 4.5%. Clock speed doesn't usually scale 1:1 with performance, so the actual difference in speed will be less than that. Less than 4.5% isn't a whole lot, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 | 2500K @ 4.6GHz | 2x4GB Samsung DDR3 | GTX 750 Ti 2GB
