I have several HDD's that I want to combine together, essentially having one big drive. Now my drives are of different sizes and brands will this work or no?

If you put two different drives in RAID 0, they are going to be limited by the smallest and slowest drive. For example, if you had a 100gb drive and a 250gb drive in RAID 0, you would only have 200gb of space (100gb/e) and the extra space is unusable. Additionally, the faster drive will be constantly waiting on the slower drive to finish operations, which could cause stuttering.

It is best to only do RAID with same model disks.
