I don't think so. Most new kits in 8 and 16GB are overclocking the same and most depends from IMC.
Only new 4GB ( 2x2GB ) that I saw are Crucials but 4, 8 and 16GB kits have almost the same results.
These 2600+ kits ( so far G.Skill, Team or Geil from these available) have or Samsung Or Hynix IC that is clocking high but on poor timings ( CL10+ ) ... but it seems like above some clocks, timings aren't so important even for benching ... http://www.madshrimps.be/articles/a...idge-i5-3570K-i7-3770K-Review/7#axzz1t9Ne2JVq
