Well,

I am about to build a new rig: Z77, 2500k, SSD, and now, my dilemma is the Graphic card.

I won't go extreme cooli,g (LN2...), but I will ost ikely put the card under water.

What's the best choice (money is not a problem)?

how many monitors are you running?
and at what res?
680ti right now is a better card. but i think 7970 is better at higher res/more monitors

i cant really tell you what to do because every time i will go with AMD because i mine bitcoins
but i like cheap also

so i would get a 7970
but if you want to spend more 680ti is a good option too

What makes me hesitate is that there is no voltage control yet on the 680.

Thing is that I live in Europe, and that I must wait a couple of weeks before having the cash.

The 680 is about 10% up on the 7970 on one screen, once you go surround the 680 starts to falter and eventually craps its self.

And even on a single display the 7970 has lots of overclocking head room, the 680 will also overclock but as far as i know there is not as much more in it.

I don't know about what ever part of the EU you live in,- but in the UK the 7970 is also a lot cheaper.

Thanks Frakk.

I live in the most beautiful part of the EU: Corsica! Homeland of Pasquale Paoli and Napoleon.

I went the 7900 series on my recent build caust I couldnt find a 680 in stock for under $600 bucks, and with my 7950 I have overclocked it to 7970 speeds and I could still go if I wanted too but this thing eats up everything I throw at it @1920x1200.

Either card will make you happy. Look for brand you want, warranty and type of cooling u want.
