recently my VRM is getting hot.

but is water cooling the VRM an over kill ?

anyone here does it?

VRM meaning GPU voltage regulators or Mosfets on the mobo? Yea, they both are mosfets sorta I think, but for some reason we call GPU Mostfets VRM's.

Mosfet cooling is usually overkill unless your going for that last 100Mhz.

VRM cooling is covered by full cover GPU blocks very well. GPU only with good air sinks and a fan is common. You don't hear a lot about VRM overheating though.

So dunno? Mosfets can be helped by redoing the TIM tape, as VRMs.
