Zalman CNPS10X Performa (£25) or the CM Hyper 212 Evo (£35)

which would be better value to cool an FX8120 with a small overclock?

help would be greatful

Well the Plus is impossible to get here and if you do fine it they can be upwards to £40, the original 212 is about £30 and the evo is £33 atm

In that case, I guess you can go with the EVO.
My recommendation is personal preference/experience, I'm not saying the Hyper 212 is better.

frostytech rates the EVO better at full fan speed, the Zalman with a resistor (1350 rpm) is much quieter.
Other reviews show the two much closer. Seems to depend on test methods.

well thanks guys, im buying one at the end of the month to replace my AC freezer 7 (which is being put into a SETI@home machine) and i might just pay the extra £7 and buy the evo as it has the 2nd fan attachment (to make a much quieter system) so thanks all :)
