It gets rave reviews from pretty much every review site online. It's to the point, where it's difficult to find an actual bad review. However, I ordered one based off the reviews and was very disappointed. It has a very cheap feel to it. If you've ever driven a mid-90's GM car, it felt like it was made of the same material as their interiors. After one day of trying it out, back it went. Ordered a Lenova Yoga 3 Pro to replace it and it's been going strong for three years now. I really don't understand how everyone like the Transformer, I couldn't stand it.

Huh, a $800 2-in-1 vs a $200 2-in-1, wonder why it could be better.

Sorry just being a prick :D

Thing is I'm looking for a cheap small laptop/2-in-1 that's functional around the clock without any modding, so no chromebooks that need a full version of *nix shoehorned onto it and something like the Yoga is more than I want to spend on something. I've used a netbook as my sole laptop for a while back in college, so I'm used to something rocking an Atom and 2GB RAM. Also realize if I spend ~$200 I'm not getting something with an aluminum unibody. My main concern with the Transformer is that, well, it's an Asus product, and EVERY Asus product I've used after an old A8N-SLI board back in the s939 days, from bluetooth adapters to laptops, has had issues with it.

OK, ending rant, I realize this is the wrong thread for this.

The Yoga was like $450 direct from Lenova when I bought it (they had several screen sizes, the $800 one was a 15" I think), and the Transformer was $350. Still not completely an apples-to-apples comparison as they're were different price ranges, but the extra $100 was definitely worth it. My point was that the Transformer felt like a $100 toy, not a $350 laptop. For the price it's at now, I'm still not sure if I'd have bought it over a more expensive model.

Kind of tempted for the keyboard. Already have keyboards with browns, blues, and clears, haven't tried reds in a full keyboard yet. And $30 is about the most I'd pay for another rosewill keyboard.

I kinda feel the same haha

Ive actually heard decent things about the rosewill keyboards. Not the best, and for 100$, there are better options... but 30$.... dang thats tempting haha

Red's aren't really that great TBH. We have MX Blacks in some keyboards at work - actual Cherry keyboards. They just mash down and bottom out quick. I don't like that feeling.
I have the sampler switch set too.
I still want a MX Green keyboard :D

I'll admit that I haven't been paying too much attention to the 4XX cards so I don't know if this is a super awesome deal, but one of the daily deals is a VisionTek RX470 for $150 with a free copy of the new Hitman. Seems like a decent enough deal for someone trying to upgrade to a DX12 card.

On that same note, the Polk Audio Monitor 40's II are also $100 a pair. These are awesome speakers, as I'm running 6 with the matching center for my 7.1 setup.

I will also confirm this. I'm running Polk 75T's and a CS2 series II as a front stage setup and have the 30's as surrounds. The sound cannot be beat for the price. I picked them all up on Newegg 2 years ago. If you need a sub the Polk PSW505 12" is a nice sounding sub to match.
