Hello!

I am in a dire situation..

I just installed my new Sapphire 7950 Vapor-x OC to
my Asus P6T Deluxe (latest bios) and the video card gives no image at all!

The mobo bios beeps with the error code "no video card or bad video ram".

I have plugged the 6pin and 8pin correctly to my psu (I think),
it is a 1000W thermaltake psu so watts should not be a problem..

The cards fans spin, and the led lights.

What should I do?

Is the slot you are using nearest to the CPU and did it click when you pushed the card into the slot? Also did you try the next slot down and see if it will fire up in that slot? Then after that it could be a case for RMA your card back to where you got it my friend? Unless someone else has a idea what is the problem you have.

Thank you for your reply!

I am using the primary pci slot and I pushed it until the click sound, but I havent tried the other slot..

It could be DOA but in order to know for sure I must test it on another system:-\

I contacted Sapphire and they told me to try clearing the cmos and try again!

I did it and it worked perfectly!! :-D
