We have a thread for this in the benchmarking forum, but I'd like to see what everyone gets. Post pictures, links, or simply discuss parts that you get.

I'll start by posting a non-computer part, but it helps me take pictures of my computer parts, so I think it counts. I picked up a Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G lens for my Nikon D5100. This allows me to get some very bright indoor shots without having to use a long shutter speed or tripod.

Grandpa stuff: socks, shirts, candy (moar chocolate !!); but I did get one of the new Kobalt screw drivers (as seen on TWee) that keeps screwing in or out no matter what direction you turn the handle -> review = works as advertised. Yes, the smaller of the two (it's a kit) is now in my PC quick tool tray.

Its in transit still but I just picked this up on the egg today. It managed to consume the entirety of my yearly upgrade budget all on its own, but I decided that the security of my data and the volume of it now is just to valuable to cut corners.

I spent the last 3 days bouncing off the internet trying to find the best solution for my storage problems and had almost just picked up a prebuilt NAS but I couldn't find one that was comparable in features and price as a diskless box + drives. I was all set to grab 4x 2Tb seagates but the egg was limiting me to 3 and Im not going to mix models in this thing, probably not an issue but why take the risk. Then I saw another user post that they had a nice promo code for the reds which put them at the same price as the greens so that was a no brainer.

Long *** Cat6 so I can get rid of the powerline adapter that I am using to bridge the upstairs network to the main WiFi network downstairs(router modem).

The sabertooth worked out to be a dual edged upgrade as my wife needs a better motherboard so tickle me selfish on that one...

I got EVERYTHING!!

Decided to dip my feet into the semi-audiophile market and ditch the walmart specials.

So after a shipping delay (UPS Problem) my NAS arrived today. I just got the HDDs in and finished updating the firmware. Im in the middle of formatting the drive in RAID5 for 8.4Tb of semi-redundant storage.

I expected configuring the drives would take a while but Im about an hour in and its not finished. However its not a surprise considering that its formatting 12Tb or disks right now with a 1.2Ghz CPU.

I just got my Das Keyboard with Cherry MX Blues back from a co-worker. Ripped it apart, cleaned it well, and put in the silencers.

Nexus 4 arrived today. :)

I will finally be getting away from Verizon.

I didn't get these today, but I did get them very recently.

Got my baby back today. Let a friend borrow it and they got it cleaned for me.
This lil thing cost all most as much as my comp has.

Package of 3 matte screen protectors for my new Asus Transformer tablet. At least I ordered them. Oh, yeah, 30 bags of steer manure compost. You might think it's not a tech purchase but indirectly is. I got the compost for my wife whose the flower gardener so she'll continue to indulge me on my tech purchases.

Did you get the Windows 8/Android dual OS one?

That's pretty cool and could even convert me to a tablet, which I current see as the spawn of the devil...
