Any ideas on how much better will they be compared with the x79?

Clock for clock it should be better (single thread, as IB is already better and Haswell should be better than IB). How much, no clue but I believe these will still be quad core versus IB-E that will supposedly release at the end of this year. It should be close to 3930K in multithreaded apps though is my GUESS.

Pretty sure X79 will still destroy it if you've got a 3930K or above in multi threaded apps. Single threaded apps on haswell will be faster clock for clock.
