First post on a forum ever so please bear with me. Originally a console gamer but the allure of putting together my own system won out.
mobo- asus p8z68 deluxe/gen3
cpu- i5 3570k
heatsink- Noctua NH-D14
gpu- nvidia gtx 680 sli
memory- corsair vengeance (4x2)
psu- corsair tx850m

So... I started with turboV evo
cleared those settings and changed the multiplier to x47, the BCLK back to 100.0, disabled intel speedstep tech, and left most of everything where it was.
My main question is i was so used to the clock idling at 1600 that now the clock staying at 4700 is sort of unnerving to me. is this alright?
I started all of this this afternoon so i had aida64 running for a few hours with no issues and the core voltage goes between 1.288-1.296.
also, signature... how do i do that?

:welcome:

my first question is how the hell did you get yours to change multipliers?

I basically have the same board and processor and my multi is locked at 42 :bang head

I really should learn to read one of these days

but for the sig qo to quick links in the upper right, then select 'edit signature'. Easy peasy.
