Can I unlock shaders on my 6950 1gb?

Hi there...

I got a used 6950 1gb, by Gigabyte with a WF3 cooler.
Not a ref pcb apparently, and only 1gb vram so I guess it can't be flashed to 6970 bios.
But, I looked around and actually managed to extract and mod my bios to unlock shaders. Didn't flash yet cause I don't have a proper usb flashdrive and I wasn't sure if it would brick the card or not.

Any clues?

Apparently, it may be unlockable...I know it's not the OC model but it's worth a shot.

Post back how it works out.

Don't have a flash drive I can use atm...only micro sd cards and a reader. But that doesn't work.
