WinME & ATI RAGE FURRY MAXX drivers

After I install the drivers on my comp, using WinME, I can't turn off my comp... It just won't turn off. I press shutdown, it turn off windows, I get a blank screen, and just b4 the comp shuts down, it just hangs, I'm sure its the drivers of the card b/c there was no issue like that b4 I installed the ATI drivers...
Can any one help? there was no problem like that in Win98

What version are the drivers?
