Merry Christmas from the US Capitol!

Thanks, but you absolutely can! Your sensor is every bit as good (indeed better) than the one on this T3. Our cameras freak out in the dark and over expose, hence the -0.7eV. All you need is to harness it.

I also use the Ken Rockwell trick of a user defined picture style, just not as saturated as he does it. There should be three customizable user styles. Set sharpness to +6 and saturation to +2 (+1 for people...+2 is a bit warm for skin tones). It will help.

46 degrees in December means lace up the boots and go hiking!

That's a beautiful shot Dark_N_Beyond!

46 F is much warmer than the -0.4 F I had just a few days ago!

Enjoy your hike, I wish there were some trails by my place for me to hike on...

Yeah... we're headed for -3F tonight, and that will be the warmest night in the forecast. Winter is returning... -16F tomorrow night. Don't think we'll be above zero until after New Year's day. Couldn't waste the day today!

Oooo. That's getting pretty cool there :chair:

Yup, today was quite nice today, not too cold!

I do not understand how 46F is 'not cold' weather. This morning it might have been about 65F at sunrise, a bit chilly. :p

46 F is not cold, Because I'm Canadian!

46 F is a Canadian's dream temp of Summer lol :p Kidding, I can't wait for Summer, even though it's so dang short :p

Second Xmas dinner at my relative's place. They have a year old Italian Spinone puppy that rarely stays still for pictures. I managed to get this shot between her antics :)

Awesome pic! I'd really like to go there some day.

Last time I tried to take a pic of a dog, I ended up with slobber all over the lens. Nice catch!

Couple more from earlier in the day yesterday...

I had been building this vehicle for atleast a year or so. 1998 Nissan SKyline GTR r34. Drove to Paul Walkers memorial with it. (headlights were removed due to recently being painted)

That's a gorgeous Skyline.

FYI, if you click the paperclip a second time it'll let you put the pictures in-line with the text.

Now that's a nice car!
Shame what happened to Paul Walker..... :(

Very nice; captures the brooding sense of a cemetery beautifully. Did you burn the corners, or get that in the original exposure?
