I see you have some nice RAM there. I have no luck to higher clocked CL9 memory. Most my Samsungs can make 2666 or 2800 CL10 but not 2600+ CL9 up to 1.95V.

Did you get Z97 OCF or Z97M OCF ? I should get Z97M tomorrow and I'm wondering how memory will be running on this board as I haven't seen any higher clocked results in the web.

It is a GSkill 2666C10 kit.

I got the Z97 OCF.

I was worried it might end up DOA... As NewEgg didn't do a proper job of packing or boxing it and then UPS smashed it badly during transit. The outer box had complete failure to the point where even the retail motherboard box inside was crushed.

ASRock is now shipping their boards with a dense foam surround/sleeve insert... So the board managed to survive, boots and seems to be running fine.

My Z87M OCF had slightly bent PCB on the corner even though there was a foam.

I have G.Skill 2400 9-11-11 and 2600 10-12-12 but none of them want to run at CL9 2600+. I managed to set 2800 10-12-12 but 2600 9-12-12 didn't work. I also have 4 other Samsung kits and all of them can make 2600/2666 10-12-12. Little worse with 2800+.

The one above was at 4100mhz. I decided to just post the right one here like this because I already messed up the result table with 4100

Devlos you may want to run that 4.0 again with the ram at 2133, like you had it when you were at 4.1, to shave a few seconds off.

@ Witchdoctor,
It looks like that you were run it with Windows XP and that should gets much faster time. Try again.
You should be able to knock me down.

?
right now having a rum and coke
plotting to take over the world:D
and getting ready to set up e8500 for geekbench :)
if your talking about the screen shots having fun with my new hardware

I figured that was what you were up to. Ya Know that's the marathon bench this month. It's funny how voltage can have an effect like that isn't it? I've noticed that before but ram and cache seem to be even more sensitive performance wise. How you liking the new platform?

first thought platform is buggy as hell but it could be my board slot 1 and 3 couldn't run XMP setting for my 3866's but you see what they can do in slot 2 and 4 plus is if I let the system idle it would freeze or not wake form sleep with stock setting

My Ram does not like 2.3 volts :chair:saw a brand new BSOD a little scary, I'm ok with 2.0 volts all day long and it seem I'm right on target for spi32 just need to get xp and wazza set up they saying up 10 to 15 seconds improvements so my first screen shots that i posted are looking better to me

Try a different bios. I know there were some growing pains on that platform and bios was helping

Long time no see for sure just bumming around and notice this thread, and said OK will post MANNY!

Please to see you buddy!

Philip.
