Formula BOINC 2014

Hello Boinc Family,

Dear Crunchers,

The Formula Boinc is modeled on Formula One World Championship, circuits are projects, times are team's points
made on each project from 1 January to 30 November. Set your crunch to have the best production
on many projects and you get points for the podium of best Boinc's contributors.

New rules for 2014: The teams will be sorted in leagues according to their RAC. See list here.

Link to the Formula-Boinc website: http://formula-boinc.org/

Link detailing the leagues: http://formula-boinc.org/equipes.py?year=2014

Participation is automatic if your team runs more than 10 projects

Thank you for spreading the word within your team

Kind Regards

Phil1966 on behalf of Formula Boinc Steering Committee.

Hello

In fact, the goal of this Formula BOINC is to propose to teams
to crunch on > 10 different projects, on a regular basis.

There is also a stats. project whose badges are related to hours spent crunching / projects, not points earned : http://wuprop.boinc-af.org/

1st badge = 20 different projects x 100 hours.

See list here : http://statseb.boinc-af.org/badges.py?projet=WUProp

Again, the objective is to propose to all crunchers to diversify their "crunching time".

In both cases, strategy is important, not calculating power ;)

Kind Regards,

And how do we do this "diversifiy"? I thought we crunch what we are given. I didn't think there was a choice in the matter.
