First piece of bad news? Due to copyright infringement, or patent infringement, or both... Nintendo must now pay out 2%... of every Nintendo 3DS sold. The regular, the XL, every single one.

And if that news wasn't good enough...

...they're also 6 million short in Wii-U sales. (Versus what they projected and told the investors they were going to sell.)

So just in case you've been underestimating the predicament Nintendo is in... here's the cold water.

And what is up with that website going straight into a plug after the editorial ended? Seriously, I start reading the next paragraph thinking it's still part of it and I read about a dudes call on the stock market?!!! Lol!
LOL, I was just about to post the same thing! Ol' Nintendo...trying so hard to stay in the game but just can't catch a break. If only they would start getting some real games for their consoles they might actually survive.

I saw 5M in sales...

They ALWAYS do that... I don't know what's wrong with them. I only read them now because Yahoo has COMPLETELY given up on any real news. I don't think the AP even allows them to use them anymore. So now there's like 12 wrestling articles a day and everything that Motley Fool has.

That website makes no sense to me really...

Honestly idk how Nintendo has stayed in the game this long. The life cycle of their console revolves around a hand full of franchise games and no 3rd party games WHAT SO EVER! Personally I buy Nintendo console to play Mario and Zelda game and after that I don't touch the console for the next 2-3 years. Not that I don't want to, but because there is nothing else to play.

Also not to mention that their consoles are generation behind competitors. They did catch a break with Wii but motion control has been played to death at this point and its not gaining any traction.
