So I heard there is suspicion that Kingston switched NAND as of v506 of their V300 SSD.
Anyone out there have one and willing to crack it open to look at markings? Would need a v506 to compare, and an older one.
Lots of talk around apparently after newer drives performed more poorly, so I'm curious to see if anyone has opened them up to confirm the NAND is different.
