Can I pay someone to laser engrave an external HDD?

Like the title says, not sure where else to post this. My wife wants an external drive for her birthday, and I wanted to make it a little bit nicer for her and get her alma mater engraved on the front.

Its just plastic, right?

I would remove the HDD while the laser is running, they're very high power.

i think you can pay someone to do anything you want. With that in mind some jewelers can laser engrave and almost all of them can engrave normally. I have some titanium I had laser engraved at a jewelers.
