Hey all, I feel that this subforum could really benefit from sharing any good deals we can find on potential mining hardware. These can be from etailers, ebay, our classifieds, or possibly other forum classifieds. I know not everyone can afford everything they find (or may not necessarily be interested in it), but it could benefit one of your fellow OCFers if you find a good deal or something rare that is available.

Off the top of my head things like:
  • Video Cards
  • Multi-PCIe slot motherboards
  • Cheap (but good) risers/powered risers
  • Power Supplies
  • Cases/Benching Stations/Racks
  • ASICs
  • PSU Splitters (for multiple power supplies)

Let me know what you think and I'll do my best to participate in sharing what I find on the net for you all. Do try to make sure it is a good deal (posting a $625 290X is not a great deal, but one for $550 or lower can be considered one, for example).

Mine On! :attn:

NOTE: this is not a trading thread, dont post direct trades here please ! post links to your thread in the FS/FT section or post good deals you may have spotted outside somewhere. This is a must in order to comply with the forum rules. Thank you. ZL1

Powercolor 7850 2GB for $120 after a $30 rebate (limit of 1). I've been running one of these for the last week at 365KH/s and no issues.
At $120, a 7850 is one of the best KH per dollar cards available.

Thinking of this card. But it's wayy cheaper in 'Murica...

please don't stickey this, I'd rather it move to the top of the list when it has activity.

Good point, it would be on top when there is a deal...

please, lets not turn this into a discussion, this is a heads-up only thread

the sticky is fine imo, its same for benching and ive always seen it, people need to learn to read the sticks or at least notice them

http://www.computeruniverse.net/products/90531494/sapphire-radeon-r9-280x-dual-x-oc.asp

both in stock right now, both good price imo and store ships anywhere in EU
just note that manu2b says that 280x isnt the best miner.. so its a chance thing, if you can flash it maybe it will do better ?

Thanks for the heads up.

It might work better with the Stilt modded bios.

Edit: in Francer, most 280x's are available on most internet shops. But the few frogs on the forum already know it, I guess! ;)

Price raised to $205, but still in stock.

Gigabyte R9 270 (GV-R927OC-2GD) for $180 with free USA shipping and no rebates. Ivanlabrie recommends this particular card: http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showpost.php?p=7616770&postcount=169 I'm tempted but not sure about growing my mining operation any further. Anyway, anything R9 270 currently starts at $200 and this model is $180 and is reputed to be a great mining card.

Don't the Sapphire Dual-X r9 280x have a bios problem that make the card throttle at like 75 celcius? I've been hearing this happening to almost everyone with the latest update that all new cards come with. And they couldn't even get it to work after flashing the old one.

that wasnt the dual-x, that was possibly some other card.
and we dont have anyone here who has that card/that problem, so its unsure if it is true or not as of yet.

It's definitely this card people are talking about. :p . Reading it on Bitcointalk as I type this. As for the legitimacy, I don't have one so I can't test it myself (nor would I want to risk the hash rate and upgrade to the bios if I did own one. lol). Just thought people should know.
