You're done too? :(

Man this sucks, wonder if mining will ever "recover"...

at this point, the ENTIRE farm is only making ~$12-15 USD per day. I am going to try my hand a little at trading, for the price i can sell the farm, i could buy ~275 days worth of mining(coins).
If it does recover, ill probably take ivans advice and go the 750ti route, so much less heat/power. Ill probably be keeping the cheap stuff, such as risers and psu chain connectors, maybe a psu or 2 just in case :)
Ooooo I may grab a couple things.

Ill be offering discounts for btc/ltc payments as well :)

I have the same plans too. A 750ti rig- but of course, gonna start saving up for that lol.

Trading seems to be the only way to make a good profit nowadays... It was fun while it lasted. :)

I don't even bother mining on my 750 Ti anymore. Profits would be $10 per month running 24/7 and it would use $7 worth of electric. No thanks.

Edit-Looks like it would be about $15 a month on x15 (so, netting $8), still not enough to bother with plus you never know if profits will stay that high (doubt it).

but if you had 3 of em... :)
maybe I should sell my cards and buy 750ti's like Ivan keeps telling me

If prices ever spike again, it will be profitable. I have cut back and 2 rigs are off and I only mine on my main rig. 3x 290x on xmr.
I have 2 cards fresh from rma, that I will likely sell, but I am debating whether to sell more.

Prices on AMD cards are dropping; I'm scooping them up. $415 290X shipped one-day? Yes, please.

I can get 1070's all day for 600 on ebay, even brands that'll still have a warranty. Why is this a good deal? And gsrcrsxi, when could you ever get a 1070 for $300? They've always been atleast 400-450 or so brand new. Maybe microcenter I don't know, don't live near one.

i could have sworn it showed 699 when i first clicked the link. my intent was to highlight that 1070's should be around $400.

I agree with this, but its better than overpaying 2-2.5x considering what else is available right now

anywho, I didnt say super hot deal na na na, but its reasonable by comparison

I would anyday buy a card used with warranty than something new and not have warranty. Doesn't matter how well you take care of things, sometimes you just get a dud. For a $600 investment, warranty is an absolute must...for me anyway.
