Yesterday I had in my hands G.Skill AEGIS 8GB DDR3-1600 C11 1.35V memory kit and I couldn't leave it without tests.
In this thread I wish to present what can you expect from this cheaper G.Skill series what of course includes overclocking tests.
G.Skill AEGIS has been packed in usual plastic blister and inside, besides memory we can find sticker with G.Skill logo.
Inside there are two single-sided 4GB sticks without heatsinks. What we see on the memory are actually stickers.
Memory has been manufactured in December 2013.
Memory chips have been rebranded but part of serial number suggests it can be Nanya or Micron.
G.Skill AEGIS has no XMP profile. Standard SPD profile is setting memory to 1600 11-11-11-28 and on my test board also Command Rate 1N. Voltage is also working like it should using auto settings so 1.35V.
SPD/Auto settings are below
