my unit:
*AMD APU A6 5400k 3.8ghz processor
*Gigabyte F2A75M-HD2 rev.1 bios fb3 motherboard
*Geil Corsa 4gb 1600mhz ddr3 RAM
*Cougar SL 600w Power Supply
*Sapphire HD6570 2gb ddr3 videocard
*AOC 18.5 led monitor

bought a Sapphire R7 250 1gb ddr5 videocard,
heres the things of what i did:

1)uninstalled hd6570, removed drivers, installed r7 250, connected gpu vga monitor - result: NO DISPLAY

2)connected to onboard via safe more, used display driver uninstaller, reboot to normal mode, used cc cleaner to remove registry, installed r7 250 - no display so connected to onboard, installed drivers, reboot, connected vga to r7 250 result: NO DISPLAY

issues:
*hd6570 works whenever i try to install it - no NO DISPLAY issue

*r7 250 fan is working, boots but NO DISPLAY when connected to monitor, whenever i remove the vga and connect to onboard then monitor hasdisplay

*R7 250 works when tried on ANOTHER UNIT(by that i mean a different computer)

*no issue with POWER SUPPLY, i got a 600watts

*no issue with drivers - i tried the one it has with the disc, tried ccc 14.4, 14.3, 14.2, 13.9, 13.11 blah3x...everything works with 7540d, hd6570 but NOT WITH R7 250 ON MY COMPUTER.

*tried mobo bios from FB2, FB3, FB4 and even FB5b or FB5c still the same!!!! NO DISPLAY on r7 250(works with hd6570, onboard and others), btw bios update FB4, beta's FB5b and FB5c has issues - unable to pull up bios on startup.

HELLLLPPPPPP. I AM FREAKING FRUSTRATED RIGHT NOW. BEEN DOING THIS FOR ALMOST EVERYDAY SINCE LAST WEEK. THE R7 250 WORKS ON A DIFFERENT UNIT BUT NOT MINE!!!!!!!:bang head

Yes i did.

Did you enable boot using the discrete (R7 250) GPU?

i tried choosing these using the R7 250: :bang head

1.disabling onboard graphics, made pcie as primary. vga on gpu: NO DISPLAY
-switch vga to onboard: NO display

2.choose auto, made pcie as primary. vga on gpu: NO DISPLAY
-switch vga to onboard: HAS display

3.forced onboard graphics, made pcie as primary. vga on gpu: NO DISPLAY
-switch vga to onboard: HAS display
