7870 / R9 270 CrossFire question.

ok so I know the 7870 with crossfire with a R9 270X, but will it still crossfire with a R9 270?
I imagine it probably will seeing how its just a lower clocked version of the 270X, but I thought I would double check it.
I think its what? 50 Mhz slower than the X? easily made up for with a mild over clock I just don't understand the price difference between the 270 and 270X over 50Mhz

also heres an article some one linked a little while ago about using 7xxx and 2xx cards together:

Same GPU family, so it should work just fine.


My 7850 and 270x are x-fire compatable, so a 7870 + 270 should work. :)
