Mini ITX vs Laptop - Traveling Abroad

So, instead of a new thread, going to resurrect this.

I am thinking for Mini ITX I need to go smaller to justify it over a notebook. So, I put this build together:

I am back and forth between this, and saving up more money and going for a Lenovo Y50 and a 512GB MX100. But with this build, I would need to buy a TV/Monitor after getting to Korea, and have nothing in the meantime.

If you don't need to carry your computer around with you, you're going to be a lot happier with the mITX build.
